As Cory says: “Do NOT skip this meeting”. The purpose of the iteration planning meeting is for the entire team to understand and commit to a set of stories to complete within the iteration/sprint. This session is typically facilitated by a Coach or ScrumMaster, but the focus is on the team. You’re not off the hook though - the Product Owner also plays a significant role in this session. Listen closely to find out exactly what is expected of you and why it’s imperative that you join in on the fun.
